The sketch that started it all

I began drawing this during critique on thursday and I really liked where I was going with it. However, I think the one on the computer has more emotion in the face and postion. I'm glad I re-drew it instead of tracing it when it came to Photoshop.

Meaning...

I most recently figured out a draft of what my more torturous works mean to me. They represent the almost parasitic relationships that life tends to bring. Or things brought together that should had never met in the first place. Parts of yourself that hurt one another.

Most importantly that last line. If anyone asks, I'll just say that as a quick summary.

Things I've been working on digitally

First I sketched it in my sketchbook, then I re-drew it on photoshop, then I went at it in grayscale just changing each layer to a certain opacity, then I took colors and layed them under the grayscale layers (which is cheating but I really don't like that PS doesn't mix like paint). This is nowhere near done, I still have to draw what the hell she's connected to and stuff. I just got impatient about coloring it. I hope I finish this later :D

Also, if you want to see a lot of Penis look at this crazy art blog xD Barth I found it while looking for this stuff. The guy actually tries to make penis and vagina into cute (?) characters. I think it worked a little but I still find those parts disgusting Dx lol

Dj Sneak Machine

So, my digital drawing pursuits continue with this character called Sneak Machine, if I were a cool cyborg factory escapee turned Dj I'd be her lol I'm really going to try and pour everything I learn from all my classes this semester into the digital! If I can do that, that would certainly mean less supply cost and more work being put out. I still like the pencil and paper though, but I'll still be able to that too. Here are some things I've been working on in my digital sketchbook :D

I came to MCA for an affordable education lol I hope I can go to another school soon that's more Illustration concentrated and still affordable. If I can't though, I think I'll be ok. Once I receive my degree I want to settle down in a city of some sort and take on some jobs in my field. I don't mind being a jack of all trades as long as I use my illustrative skills. One of my personal goals is to write light novels and do the illustrations for them. If I stay at this school I'll probably go into sequential narrative major just for that cause.
